About

Creator at heart, Web developer by choice

My background and path into web development

My name is Anders. I’m a self-taught web developer from Molde, currently living in Trondheim.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Digital Media and a bachelor’s degree in preschool education. During the COVID era, I began teaching myself to code without a clear destination in mind. Over time, that path naturally led me into web development.

After about a year of learning and building personal projects, I landed my first role as a web developer at Lindbak IT AS. Nearly four years later, I moved on to Styrk Reklame AS, where I’ve worked as a web developer since the fall of 2025.

Today, my focus is primarily on frontend development, though I’m increasingly curious about backend work. I work with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, PHP, HTML, and CSS (including Tailwind), as well as CMS platforms like WordPress and Sanity. I also have hands-on experience with page builders such as Elementor and Divi.

Much of my day-to-day work revolves around problem-solving, debugging, and figuring things out as I go — learning continuously, improving my craft, and keeping imposter syndrome in check.

What you can expect to find across my site.

This website is my personal playground: a space where I learn new methods, stacks, coding languages, frameworks, test out ideas such as api integrations, component-based development, and share what I’m working on.

It also doubles as a gallery for my drawings and other creative projects. I’ve always loved sketching and painting to some degree, often leaning into caricatures, funny characters, and snapshots of odd or playful moments.
